The conference venue is conveniently situated between the airport and the city center (more information about the venue can be found here). However, there are many options how you can get to Dublin.
For example by air and sea. Dublin Airport is located 10 kilometres north of the city with Dublin Port located 4 kilometres east at the mouth of the River Liffey. There are many options for flying, sailing or cruising. For more information visit www.visitdublin.com/see-do/travel-and-planning/getting-here. Another option is to travel by road or rail. Dublin is linked by motorway to Waterford (170km), Cork (260km), Limerick (202km), Galway (208km) and Belfast (169km). If you plan to travel by bus, Bus Éireann have a network of daily services that terminate in the city centre. There’s also a number of private bus operators that run services from cities around the country. If you’d like to travel by rail, Irish Rail provide daily services in and out of Heuston and Connolly Stations. Although located rather centrally in the city both stations are serviced by the light rail system LUAS and by Dublin Bus. Some useful apps to plan your travel are recommended here. |
